Who we are
Umpy is a hockey appointment app designed in Perth, Western Australia. You can contact us at hello@umpy.au.
What we collect
When you use Umpy we collect: profile information you choose to provide (name, contact details, experience, preferences, qualifications, optional WWC details), fixture and appointment data, expressions of interest, in-app messages and basic usage analytics.
What we do not collect
Umpy does not collect or store bank account details. Match payments are arranged directly between teams and umpires.
How we use information
To run the app, match relevant games to umpires, deliver notifications, support you when issues arise and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Profile information visible in the app (name, experience, qualifications) is visible to relevant teams and program managers when you express interest in a game. Messages are visible to participants of the relevant conversation. System administrators may access chat history where required for support, complaints or safety matters.
Storage and security
We use reputable cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security practices. We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal requirements.

You can request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@umpy.au.
