Payments

Umpy does not process match payments. Match fees are arranged directly between the team and the appointed umpire. We are not a payment processor and never hold or transfer money on your behalf.

Do not enter bank details into Umpy. The app does not require, request or store bank account information. If you ever see a screen that appears to ask for bank details, please report it to us immediately — it is not a legitimate part of Umpy.

Communication and chat history

Conversations in Umpy are between the active participants of a given game. System administrators may access chat history only where required for support, complaints, safety matters or issue resolution. We do not browse messages routinely or for commercial purposes.

Working With Children information

Umpires can add Working With Children Check details to their profile where relevant. Verification is handled according to the Umpy process. The presence of WWC information on a profile does not replace the obligations of clubs, programs and parents around junior officials — please follow your local guidance and your governing body’s policies.

Junior umpires

Where a club umpire program manages junior officials, communication can flow through the program. Parents and clubs should remain involved in oversight, and we encourage all team managers to communicate respectfully with juniors.

Attendance

Umpy helps you find an umpire and communicate. Once an appointment is confirmed, attendance is the responsibility of the appointed umpire and the team or organiser. Umpy is not able to guarantee that an umpire will attend.
