Using Umpy

Umpy is a free app that helps hockey teams, umpires, clubs and event organisers connect, communicate and coordinate appointments. By using Umpy you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for the information on your profile and for keeping your account credentials secure. Don’t impersonate others.

What Umpy is not

Umpy is not a payment processor. We do not collect, hold or transfer match fees. We do not guarantee that an umpire will be appointed to a given game, or that an appointed umpire will attend.

Acceptable use

Be respectful in messaging. No harassment, abuse or unlawful conduct. Don’t use Umpy to coordinate matters unrelated to legitimate hockey officiating.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove access where these terms or community standards are breached, or where required by law.

Liability

Umpy is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of the platform, including any disagreements between teams and umpires over fees, attendance or conduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
